Suede ballet flats from Gap

For some reason, every time I see a suede shoe I think it's going to be super comfortable. Which makes absolutely no sense, because it's not like the interior is lined with suede cushioning. Most likely because that would be worn down and gross after awhile. Still, looking at these suede ballet flats from Gap tricks me into believing that they would be the most comfortable shoes of all time, and I must have them. Of course, the shape and cute little dressy applique also helps bolster my craving.

New Shoe Styles from Gina Shoes

Everyone knows how the Style Bard likes to support small boutiques and shops online. Well, Gina shoes are one of my favorite small-scale in-the-know shoe designers, and I'm pleased to share with you the new Spring 2010 line which just hit the online store. Gina specializes in flashy dress-up heels and bridal shoes with Swarovski crystals, but you can also find subdued heels for a more everyday look. These gems rarely go on sale, and they're a bit of a splurge, but I just love to look at all the new styles, like these crystal-lined Cinderella-esque 'Gita' peep-toe heels. I think they'd be great for a special occasion, such as a formal dance, gala or wedding.
